An Open Letter To My Younger Self

Good morning!

For a while, I wished more than anything I could go back in time and start my life over, with the maturity and wisdom I have now (try not to laugh, try not to laugh…). Hindsight is 20/20, as they say.

I’ve physically ached to go back and change the past. I know this isn’t productive, but there has been a lot of darkness in my life. It’s been a constant struggle reconciling who I was with who I am today. Some parts of me are gone forever, and some I only think are gone only to come creeping up when I least expect it. So with that, a letter


A Call to Love: United We Stand

Social media isn’t all bad, but over the last week, I had to just stop checking it. Everyone seems to have an opinion on what is “right” and what is “wrong”, and it seems everyone wants a piece of the “pointing the finger” pie. There has been a lot of public ranting about “what’s wrong” with our country, our leaders, and our police force. It is tempting to add to the noise, to add fuel to that fire. But is there a better way to respond to the wave of recent tragedies?
